first date
Joel sat in his car waiting for Kelsey to come out. It was their first date and Joel was really nervous. He smelled his armpits.
"Mmmm!" He said, trying to calm himself down.Just then, Kelsey stepped outside.
He slowly climbed out of his car. "H-Hey!"
"Hey, Joel!" She opened to passanger door and got in. He got back in, too.
"It's funny we met at Warped, huh?" Kelsey asked, trying to start a conversation.
"Yeah! It's cool!" Joel said, still nervous.
"So, where we going?"
"Uh, we're going to a movie, then we're gonna get some pizza and then we'll probably hit the arcade. Is that OK with you?"
"Yeah! That sounds like a lotta fun!"
"Ok, let's go!" Joel pulled into a driveway.
Kelsey looked at the scraped paint on the house and then looked back at Joel. "This is your house?"
"NO! I was just kidding. This is one ugly-ass house."
She laughed as he backed out.

They watched a movie and ate pizza. It was time for the arcade.
"Are you excited?" Joel asked as they walked into the arcade.
"Yeah! This is going to be fun!"
There was music. "Wanna dance?" Kelsey asked.
"I've got a better a idea..." Joel grabbed her hand and ran to the back.
It was empty. There was a big machine.
"Dancing Machine!" Kelsey read.
"Step on!" Joel said. (It's one of those machines that you have to follow the dance steps until you get it right.)
After an hour of trying, she finally did it!
"You did it!" Joel said.
"I know!" Kelsey said, jumping up and down.
Joel picked her up and swung her around. She laughed.
He softly set her down. He put a piece of hair behind her ear.
He kissed her softly.
"What a first date." She said and continued kissing him.
